04 Jan Youth Opportunity Center Foundation Executive Director Joins AFP Board of Directors
Polly Craig, Executive Director of the Youth Opportunity Center Foundation, has been named to the Board of Directors for the Indiana Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
The Indiana Chapter of AFP’s mission statement is to foster the growth and development of philanthropy, the fundraising profession, the chapter, and its individual members. It moves toward this goal through extensive research, education, ethical principles, and high standards of professional practice. The Indiana chapter seeks to better society and the diverse communities of the state through the voluntary actions of the members and affiliated organizations.
Polly Craig has been a member of the organization since 2012 and has served in a volunteer capacity on the membership committee since 2015.
“AFP has provided me with the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills as a fundraising professional including earning my Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2014. AFP has benefitted my work for the children at the YOC,” stated Craig. “The AFP board is comprised of outstanding fundraising professionals in Indiana and I look forward to serving with them to advance philanthropy and impact agencies like the YOC.”
Craig will begin serving in this new role at the beginning of 2018 while she continues to also serve on the membership and program committee for AFP.
