24 Oct Proud Partner of Red Ribbon Breakfast: Live Drug Free

The Youth Opportunity Center is a proud partner of the Delaware County Prevention Council (DCPC) and a sponsor of its Red Ribbon Community Breakfast, to be held Tuesday, October 25 at the Horizon Convention Center.

The Red Ribbon Breakfast is the kickoff off for Red Ribbon Week (Oct 23-31), focusing the attention of our community’s youth on the dangers of substance abuse.

This year’s theme is:  “Be the change you wish to see – Live Drug Free.”  Justin Phillips of Indianapolis, founder and executive director of Overdose Lifeline, Inc. (ODL), will be the featured speaker.

Over the past two decades, DCPC has served the community as a convener of agencies and organizations that are involved in the fight against drug and alcohol abuse.  It advocates and makes grants for prevention, treatment and law enforcement. The YOC is a grateful recipient of DCPC funding.
